Exact and repeatable moisture analysis for monitoring the FGD gypsum production process
Using a flue gas desulfurization (FGD) plants, fossil-fuel power plants are reducing pollutants and as side product gypsum, the so-called FGD-gypsum is synthesized. The moisture content of gypsum (crystal water) relates to the purity, any change in purity is an indication that the FGD process is not optimally operating. For this reason, purity is monitored continuously during the FGD process with HR83 Moisture Analyzers - directly next to the production line as well as in the quality control laboratory. Thanks to it robust contruction, the HR83 operates smoothly even in rough production environments ensuring long service life and trouble-free operations.
