Precision balance put to the test in elephant trial
In chemical, industrial or pharmaceutical-based laboratory environments, weighing processes are subjected to extremely harsh conditions. We took a trip to the circus to establish just how well our products perform under such conditions. Our test was simple: an elephant weighing 3.5 tons was placed on a 64 kg precision balance with overload protection. So just how precise was the balance’s weighing results during the elephant test? Additional functions of XP precision balances include:
