Een moderne weegmodule voor tankweegschalen kent meerdere veiligheids gerelateerde eigenschappen. De geïntegreerde digitale weegtechnologie maakt voorspelbare diagnostiek mogelijk voor elke individuele weegmodule. Dubbele anti-kiep beveiliging en stabilisatoren beveiligen tegen grote krachten, zoals van roerwerken in reactorvaten en harde wind bij buitensilo’s.

The new Pinmount PDX weigh module, with NTEP and OIML approval, offers significantly better system reliability. It features double security for tank scales. The digital load cell allows predictive diagnostics over the individual load cells. This information can be used for preventive maintenance to act before problems lead to down-time or inaccurate results. In addition it avoids the need for junction boxes.

The reliability and safety provided by the PINMOUNT PDX weigh module is not limited to extreme situations. The weigh module has design features intended to extend the lifetime in daily operation and ensures accuracy in various situations.

Safety against wind and seismic effects
All safety-related features are present in duplicate. Dual anti-lift protection withstands large wind and seismic forces. Integrated drop-down protection provides security in cases of extreme overload.

Ensure Accuracy over time
Two optional stabilizers fix the tank and absorb torque forces from mixers and ensure short stabilization times thus quick weighing results. The rocker pin design allows for thermal expansion and provides the best possible load cell accuracy at the same time.

The hermetically-sealed, stainless-steel POWERCELL® PDX®  load cell meets the highest IP68/69k classifications. The weigh module hardware is available in plated steel and 304 stainless steel version.

Lightning Protection for outdoor tanks
The POWERCELL® PDX® load cell of the weigh module has proved its ability to survive lightning strikes up to 80’000 amperes in an independent test laboratory. Thus the grad of lightning protection is superior over typical tank scales. This is ideal if the tank system is mounted outside and exposed to all kinds of weather conditions.

Predictive Maintenance
Each individual POWERCELL® PDX®  load cell has a microprocessor inside. It continually adjusts the weight signal to compensate for environmental effects. This ensures accurate weight values regardless of the effects of linearity, hysteres and creep. The predictive diagnostic functionality constantly monitors the load cell for potential problems and alerts the operator in case of the risk of failure to prevent serious weighing errors.

Simplified Wiring
The weigh modules can be directly connected to one another in a daisy chain network that eliminates the need for junction boxes. This ensures quick installation and gets rid of potential weak links in the weighing system.
