METTLER TOLEDO

Constant production availability thanks to maintenance technology

RAAD-Box supports the run-flat function of the IND780
Sep 04, 2008
The new IND780 weighing display contains predictive maintenance technology. This technology, named TraxEMT™, is an integrated virtual METTLER TOLEDO maintenance engineer. It supports continuous production availability of the automated filling process of weighing modules.
The IND780 weighing display with integrated virtual METTLER TOLEDO maintenance engineer uses TraxEMT™, a technology for predictive maintenance. It allows the IND780 weighing cell to monitor the status of each weighing cell continuously and predict errors before they actually occur. If a weighing cell fails, IND780 launches the «run-flat» function: The defective weighing cell is replaced virtually by the other weighing cells. The display device also registers the need for maintenance by sending specific staff members an e-mail and issuing a warning message locally on the display. Your process continues to run precisely and reliably until a service engineer performs the necessary repair work. The quality remains constant and the customers receive what they have ordered.
