Depending on the working environment pallet scales are available in different materials. If you are in a dry area, the rugged, hot-dip galvanized pallet scale, PTA455, with its scratch-resistant surface guarantees reliable service for many years. Is the environment rather dusty or humid and moist and corrosive liquids are an issue then the PTA459 is the right solution. This scale is made from stainless steel and has IP68 protection for the electric components and the load cell.

Dimensions, Capacities and Resolutions
PTA455/459 pallet scales are suitable for loads from 300 to 3000kg with standard resolution of 1 x 3000e Single Range (SR). Various capacities and resolutions are available.

Free Size Dimensions
If the standard length of 1260 mm and overall width of 600 mm are not what you need, you can select the size you require, from a range in lengths between 500 and 1260 mm and internal width between 450 and 1000 mm.

Supporting Surface
Do you need a wider load-bearing surface? Stainless-steel models are available with a leg width of up to 275 mm. If an additional leg width of 75 mm is sufficient, the leg widener is a practical solution for both versions of the pallet scale. Additionally, PTA pallet scales can be ordered with corner stops and guide tracks which facilitates loading and unloading.

Mobility
An optional wheel set gives you greater onsite flexibility. With its low weight, the pallet scale can be moved to a different location without problem. For optimal handling, the front forks have built-in handgrips. Moving the scale is even easier with an extra handle, just tilt the scale and roll it away. Plus you can also mount the terminal on the handle.The pallet scales are delivered with a standard connecting cable length of 5m. A length of 10m respectively 20m can be ordered as option.

Flexibility Through Plug ’n’ Weigh
The PTA455/459 pallet scales are available both in analog and digital version. With the digital version you can benefit from “Plug ’n’ Weigh” – simply connect and that’s it. There is no need to connect an individual cable strand in the terminal, which tends to be time-consuming and costly. With the digital interface up to four weighing platforms can be connected to one terminal and disconnected later - even for legal for trade applications. There is no risk of mistakenly fitted cable glands. You can trust the measured values shown on the display unit right away.
