The exact determination of TAN or TBN is crucial for the manufacturers and users of mineral oils and derived products. The excellent and stable performance of the METTLER TOLEDO Plug & Play titration sensors ensure reliable results over the whole long lifetime. Together with the Excellence titrators and Rondo automation solutions, the requirements of global oil standards are efficiently fulfilled.
Errors excluded, best performance secured – Thanks to the Sensor Chip the Plug and Play sensor is immediately recognized after connection to the Excellence titrator and all relevant sensor data are transferred to the setup. The monitoring functions guarantee that the sensor is always in an optimal condition for demanding non-aqueous titrations.

DGi116-Solvent
Reliable and fast TAN/TBN determinations – The large round glass bulb of the DGi116-Solvent provides fast and sensitive pH response. The sliding glass sleeve promotes quick signal equilibration and is easy to clean. The gold shield for the inner glass half cell provides perfect electrical and static shielding for significant noise reduction.

DMi148
Many possibilities, zero maintenance – The DMi148-SC is ideal to determine chloride and, after simple sulfidization of the silver ring, also perfect for the titration of mercaptans in petrochemical products. Thanks to the pH glass reference there is no diaphragm clogging, no electrolyte refilling required but new applications are automatically possible: acid base titrations using the silver ring as the reference.

Rondo sample changer
Precision with ease – With the Rondo sample changer the complete workflow comprising dissolution of the oil sample, titration, cleaning and conditioning of the sensor can be automated. Each sample is analyzed the same way, which significantly increases result precision and integrity. Daily titration analyses can be started with one single click and run fully unattended, which greatly improves daily work efficiency.
