17th International Process Development Conference: Chemistry, Process Safety, Scale-up, Crystallization

16th IPDC

The 17th International Process Development Conference will take place on May 16-19, 2010 in Baltimore, MD USA. This innovative annual event offers a prestigious roster of industry professionals and pioneers who will share their knowledge and experience in process development, crystallization, safety, scale-up, production and emerging technologies.  The Conference is an excellent opportunity to meet experts from industry and academia and learn about new applications and techniques in the field of chemical and process development during roundtable discussions and workshops.

In addition to the presentations, the Conference also features product and application workshops, social activities, and networking opportunities.  Plus, attendees have the opportunity to vote for the "Best Paper" of the Conference.  The speaker with the most votes is announced during the Awards Dinner which takes place on the final evening of the Conference (Wednesday).  The winner of the 2009 Best Paper Award was Adrian Daly from Pfizer, Ireland with his paper “Use of Online Mid-Infrared Spectroscopy for Process Understanding in API Manufacturing”. Runners-up were Stephen Rowe from Chilworth Technology Ltd, UK (Process Safety Decisions Using RC1e™, RTCal™, iC Safety™ and Criticality Classes”) and Prof. Allen Wright from University Newcastle, UK ("Safety and Other Aspects of Batch to Continuous Operation”).
