The E4’s precision joystick control and large, easy-to-read 64-bit color screen put every feature and function right at your fingertips. Its carousel-like menu structure makes switching between modes and adjusting settings fast – toggle left, right, up or down and press to activate. Enhanced GLP Functionality
The E4’s service data is extremely secure yet quick to access using the E4’s joystick and large, 64-bit color screen. Slide the carousel to ‘GLP’ and then click to view the array of service and calibration data the E4 makes available.
With its real-time clock, the E4 is the only electronic pipette with interval alarms. The alarm can be set by time as well as cycles. The ability to set alarms by time ensures that time intervals are adhered to and lesser-used instruments receive regular service.
Like all Rainin XLS pipettes, every E4 has an embedded RFID tag for advanced asset calibration and inventory management. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is revolutionizing how laboratories track equipment – with nothing more than an RFID reader and our LabX Direct Pipette-Scan software, you can transform how you manage these important assets:
• Scan a pipette’s calibration and service data by setting it on the RFID reader.
• Create custom profiles for each pipette and transfer that data directly to the pipette’s RFID tag.
• Integrate your LabX data with third-party asset- and calibration-management applications (LabX data exports easily as Microsoft Excel®, Word™ or text files).
Energy and Memory Management
A powerful lithium-ion battery and intelligent energy management systems make the E4 the longest lasting, hardest working pipette available.
