Analyzing Petroleum Wax According to ASTM D 4419
The ASTM D 4419 standard describes the conditions for measuring transition temperatures of petroleum waxes using differential calorimetry scanning (DSC). The transition temperatures provide petrochemical testing laboratories with important information on the quality of petroleum derivatives while the melting peak assists with the characterization and analysis of petroleum wax.
