Flow assurance is a serious issue in oil recovery and transport. Extremely costly problems can arise due to the presence of particles and droplets such as gas hydrates, waxes, asphaltenes, and water-oil emulsions. METTLER TOLEDO Lasentec® technology directly measures particles and droplets in oil in order to understand the conditions leading to flow restriction and support the testing of potential solutions.
