Pfizer's Continuous Quality Monitoring (CQM) initiative measures process parameters essential to obtaining the desired end product. Process Analytical Technology (PAT) is applied to CQM parameters to ensure that the process advances as expected and specifications are met. Techniques selected for PAT are subject to a laboratory proof-of-concept study, followed by a plant study.
