Magnetisch Protectieschild (MPS)

Magnetic force has an influence on the performance of a balance. When magnetic samples are weighed, or if a magnetic stirring rod is weighed with samples, the weighing result can deviate from the true weight value. The position of the magnetic field can lead to discrepancies of more than 20 digits compared to the true weight of the sample.

The optional Magnetic Protection Shield (MPS) weighing pan shields against magnetic forces and allows magnetic stir bar to be used without affecting the results.
