The IND560dyn and IND9D56 dynamic weighing controllers from METTLER TOLEDO can be used with a variety of METTLER TOLEDO scale conveyor systems, or other suitable scale conveyor systems using analog load cells. This flexibility makes it easy to create a tailored solution for specific applications.

Description

The IND560dyn EXPRESSWEIGH^® scale terminal is used to weigh random weight packages as they pass over the METTLER TOLEDO 9477 or other suitable scale conveyor. The configurable output can include averaged weight, consecutive number, time and date, package ID and package dimensions.

The IND9D56 EXPRESSWEIGH^® controller offers connections for photoeyes and other I/O devices to create a complete solution as part of an integrated dynamic weighing system.

For applications where package sensing and sequencing is provided by another device in the system, IND560dyn offers the ability to accept start and stop weighing commands from an external “master” interface. As a result, it is easy to create a customized solution that works with production, filling, packaging or shipping lines of any age, location, or configuration.

The IND560dyn EXPRESSCHECK^® scale terminal and IND9D56 scale controller provide 3-zone checkweighing for up to 25 target IDs. Configurable tolerances and reject timers are easily entered, and the bright, easily-read operator display shows a clear graphical indication of the comparison between each package’s weight and the target value.

A bar code can be read as the carton approaches the scale and the appropriate target ID automatically recalled, allowing for automated dynamic checkweighing of a mixed stream of items.
